Scenario
Carag, a shapeshifting cougar raised in the wild, joins Clearwater High, a school for Woodwalkers. With friends Holly (a squirrel) and Brandon (a bison), she navigates the mysteries and dangers of the Woodwalker world. It’s okay – nothing special, but it’s very similar to the book. But the actors weren’t as good, and the animation was disappointing, and the music didn’t fit either. I wouldn’t watch it again, but it’s a good movie for young children (and there are good books that are better than the movie). So: a good movie for kids (but that’s obvious, it’s a children’s book series and a children’s movie), kids also don’t care about acting, music, and animation, so they’ll like it (trust me). I would recommend reading the book (or all of it) before watching the movie, because it doesn’t explain everything, and what it does explain isn’t always explained well.
